Glass Analysis Tools
This range of high quality glass analysis tools have been specifically designed for the surveyor and or glazing professional, who need to find out the properties of glass within a building.
A remarkably simple but effective precision measurement instrument that allows accurate measurement of glass and air-gap thickness in single, double and triple glazed units and is able to identify laminate inter layers all at the touch of a button.

The Low-E Coating Detector is a dual purpose tester designed to detect Pilkington K-Glass and all other Low-Emissivity coatings on single and double glazed units and indicate on which surface it is present.
Price £54.95 (£65.94 inc VAT)
The Micro+ is a Low E Detector that uses a unique microprocessor based method to detect the presence and location of any Low-E coatings (or other conductive coatings) on a single piece of glass. These detectors are also commonly referred to as a K glass detector because of the early models that only detected Pilkington K Glass, our Low E Detector is constantly keeping pace with innovation and is capable of detecting all Low E coatings. The meter can also test glass that is installed into a sealed insulating unit (doublepane). The meter does not have to contact the coating in order to detect it, as it will detect the coatings through the glass. The detector is a valuable tool to use in the production environment to confirm the orientation of the Low-E glass. The meters can be used in production to guarantee the Low-E glass is being placed into the washers correctly, AND to confirm the Low-E pane is being installed properly into the sealed insulating units. The Micro+ detector is a rugged meter that can also be used in the field to test sealed double-glazed windows.
